Set on a modest 500m² plot on the edge of the prosperous village of Kaba Kaba, in Bali’s fertile hinterland, sits The Daiku House. A 125m², two-bedroom midcentury home, inspired by traditional Japanese carpentry and woodwork. With vast floor-to-ceiling openings that frame the homes exposed joints, natural light floods the interior, seamlessly blending the indoor spaces with the surrounding scenery.
